Guitar Center Music Foundation (GCMF) is excited to announce our Annual Benefit Concert and Fundraising event on April 4th at the Roosevelt Hotel. We will be honoring musical giant, ERNIE ISLEY, with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Ernie will be performing along with many special guests, including his daughter, Grammy-nominated Alex Isley. The Guitar Center Music Foundation (GCMF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity organization focused on granting instruments and equipment to music education and music therapy programs. From improving social and academic skills to building confidence, nurturing creativity and relieving stress, the benefits of music are limitless. Since its inception in 2005, the foundation has put instruments in the hands of over 300,000 people nationwide. We have made an impact in the lives of over six thousand people so far this year alone. Last year we supported 117 schools or community music programs, including music therapy, veterans, and hospitals, in 41 states with free musical instruments and gear.
